Gaelic Storm Interview and a Personal Blunder
Once again, I made it out to the session at B.D. Riley's. Grand old time jamming. I still need to set up one of my autoharps so it has an E-maj chord, but otherwise, all went decent. Eventually, I'll pick out the keys better as they seemed to stray quite a bit from the D, G, Em Bm keys.
Also in attendance was a new resident of Austin Celtic musician, the guitarist for Gaelic Storm. We chatted a little bit and then I thought, "Hey! I could get an interview or something for my Irish & Celtic Music Podcast. Sweet!
So I ask him and says that'd be cool. So sometime in January when the band is in town for a show they have on January 20th, I hope to record them. Grand.
Now here's the stupid thing. My sister's a big fan of Gaelic Storm. And I have YET to buy Christmas presents. DOH! Duh, could I've gotten an autograph or arranged to get a signed CD or SOMETHING?! Nope.
Well, maybe for her birthday. Yeah. Don't tell her okay?!
