Cat CD Release at Things Celtic

My CD release at Things Celtic. I played outside. It was brisk and cool. Mayhaps a wee bit too chilly after an hour and a half. But the atmosphere was fantastic, with the running fountain and Celtic art on around the garden.

Eric Power was there to video tape the show. I'm not sure how well the video turned out. I was a bit nervous playing solo. I need get over that crap. Fortunately, there were some wonderful folks in the audience who didn't seem to be half as annoyed by it as I was. Oh, that's because I kept forgetting lyrics. I mean, I've been playing these songs for a while now and know them. But kept screwing them up. Ah well...

The "set list", meaning songs I randomly picked, was good. I need to remember that. It was a good mix of traditional songs and cat songs.

Any case, if the video comes out decent enough, I'm hoping to package it together with my first CD release for Soul of a Harper and maybe release a DVD. It would make a neat mix to be sure. And there's a few songs that we've not recorded yet. So that'd sure make it original.

We'll see. I'll get together with Eric on Monday and see what I think.

I forget. Did I mention my Irish and Celtic Music Podcast? I put together a new website and URL for it. And I'm getting a LOT of subscribers. Over a 1,300! It skyrocketed when it got on iTunes.

And I released another Cat Lovers Podcast a couple days ago. Now I just need to catch up with the Bards Podcast, the Celtic music ezine and my music marketing ezine and I'll be finally about caught up from the past couple months... more or less...
